Stoptober proforma

Stoptober 2013

Stoptober is approaching again and you can play a part in helping your patients quit smoking.

Stoptober is a 28 day challenge that asks smokers to give up cigarettes for four weeks.

It starts on the 1st of October.

Research suggests you are 5 times more likely to stay quit if you can stop for 4 weeks and that patients are more likely to quit if they have both support and medication.
