North Yorkshire Local Dental Committee ( LDC) covers a large geographic area making it is difficult to maintain contact with all our members.
(By default if you are a performer or provider on the NHS you are a member!).
Therefore this letter, which is being sent to all the addresses the old PCT had, is to encourage you to reply to the email address northyorksldc@gmail.com and we will add you to our database.
Your email will not be sold or given, to any third parties and will be solely by the LDC for sharing information with you quickly and appropriately.
If you already receive emails from us you do not need to register again but we would really appreciate you passing this letter to any of your colleagues who may not be on the list.
The second part of this letter is to remind everyone of our “Question Time” meeting 6:30pm, Friday 28th June at the Golden Fleece, Market Place Thirsk. YO7 1LL
This will be an excellent opportunity to put some questions that you may have on the future of Dentistry to people who may have the answers!
On the panel we have been fortunate to secure the attendance David Geddes, who is Head of primary care commissioning for NHS England, along with Richard Ablett a director of IDH, our very own Chairman and partner of the Alpha Group Ian Gordon and Constance Pillar who is a Primary Care contract manager in the newly formed North Yorkshire Area Team (previously the PCT)
John Renshaw, who will be well known to many of you for his life time involvement in Dental Politics has kindly agreed to be our David Dimbleby for the evening and Chair the event.
This should prove to be a highly informative and entertaining evening with a FREE
3 COURSE MEAL AND WINE provided afterwards and without doubt a great chance to socialise and chat amongst friends old and new!

The meeting will include a very brief AGM to comply with our constitutional requirements as a LDC
