North Yorkshire LDC Spring Newsletter 2012
Not so much a newsletter as we use the website www.nyldc.co.uk to publish any information that we get. However as we only have 100ish emails on file and there are 330 performers in North Yorkshire we thought the best way to advertise the upcoming AGM was by letter and email.
Please pass this around to other colleagues and also make note of visiting the website to get information as soon as it available.

Tax saving opportunities.
This will most likely be held in York at a venue to be arranged so please keep checking the website and also register your email if you haven’t do so already so that e-flyers can be sent out.

AGM
The North Yorks AGM is on Friday April 20th and is being held at the Hilton Hotel right in the middle of York.
This takes the form of a short meeting starting at 6:30pm ( AGM) followed by a FREE meal and then a speech by Eddie Crouch
Eddie, along with Ian Gordon and John Renshaw, founded the Challenge pressure group in 2006 to raise concerns about the new contract
Eddie has continued his political interests with a year as Chair of LDC conference and membership of several national committees including GDPC and Rep body at the BDA
He is therefore very well connected and up to speed with the many challenges the profession faces, from the move to a National Commissioning Board, to another new contract in 2015/16 and effect on the profession of regulation from CQC and GDC
He is an excellent speaker who does not hold back from telling it as it is – I would really recommend coming along.
